The Perfect Spot to Tie the Knot
We have three areas licensed for the solemnization of weddings and civil partnerships; numbers vary from room to room with a maximum capacity of 75 but if you are not having a reception as well, then the limit may rise to 100.
Fine Detail
As with wedding receptions, you can be sure that every detail will be considered by our staff as we take great pride and pleasure in helping to ensure that all goes exactly to plan. A recommended list of suppliers for flowers [view] and music [view] is available.
The ceremonies are conducted in friendly and thoughtful mode by one of the registrars from Stafford (01785 277880). The Registry Office impose their own fees and you are advised to check timings with them before making a commitment.
The Time of Your Life
Most ceremonies start at 3pm, though on occasion other arrangements may apply. In all cases, your contract would start 30 minutes before the ceremony to allow adequate time for guests, suppliers and officials to gather. The contract is usually for 90 minutes with a further 8 hours available if a full reception and evening party is involved.
We also have a special 5 hour option in cases where the civil ceremony is followed by drinks, photography and wedding breakfast but no evening party.
For both ceremonies and receptions Sandon Hall’s standard Conditions of Letting apply. Bookings can only be made by payment of the appropriate (non-refundable) deposit. We are delighted to arrange viewings at any convenient time but this is strictly by appointment and preferably after you have received full documentation from us. All celebrations terminate by midnight.
